11:30 - The PALO ALTO LADIES will gather for a meeting and luncheon in the Julio Iglesias Room at La Hacienda Center. The program will feature local children’s books authors Phyllis and Bill Kerschner.  Mr. Mark Newhouse will also speak about his series of books the "Rockhound Science Mysteries". All ladies living in the Village of Palo Alto and their guests are urged to attend. Newcomers are extended a special welcome. Reservations and payment of $13.75 for the luncheon may be made by contacting Barbara Boisvert at 753-1176 or Bobbie McGuire at 259-7065 no later than February 25th, 2010.

3:00 to 3:50 or 4:00 to 4:50 – Bocce tournament at Tierra del Sol with playoffs, prize distribution and sub sandwich party at Tierra rec. center on the 31st. Cost is $7 for players and $5 for non-playing spouses. If you are unable to play every week, you may sign up as a substitute. Please bring your own beverages for the party. 5:00 – Family-style dinner at Red Sauce in Sumter Landing for $25 per person including tax and tip. Appetizers will be an assortment of Italian anti-pastas. Entrees will include grouper, chicken Francese, eggplant Parmesan and two types of pasta all served family-style so that may sample one or all. Dessert will be tiramisu. Dinner will include a classic Caesar salad; roast pork with brandy, green peppercorn & cream sauce over rice pilaf; roasted vegetables, bread rolls and dessert. Musical entertainment will be provided by The Villages Bellechords, a group of more than 40 women singing barbershop-style music. Please bring your own drinks, soft or hard. Please wear your nametag.
