CoronaVirus Part 3 - Miscellaneous
Palo Alto Newsletter - Mar. 30, 2020

SUBJECT TO CHANGE AS A CORONAVIRUS SAFETY MEASURE!

More Fun Things To Do...

  • Go walk in a park in The Villages that you've never been to before

  • Call and offer to shop groceries for a neighbor that might need help

  • Go ride around The Villages in your golf cart and take photos when something seems odd due to CoronaVirus

  • At early evening, listen to the quiet outside and see how bright the stars are

  • Play Golf
        - 1 per golf cart except people that cohabitate the same home
        - Experience the great idea The Villages has implemented to keep you from
having to touch the pin... (probably on the Championship courses, too).
        - With 1 per cart rule, to take care of our courses do 100% 90 degree rule.

  • Have a 'party' on yours or a nearby neighbor's driveway - you instigate it and, please, all stay at least 6' apart or more & 8 people max both critical, of course.

  • When someone OR a couple you know is on our Web site's Birthday / Anniversary List for today, go by their home in your golf cart and give a short honk Happy Birthday or Happy Anniversary wish (at a decent hour, of course... and always keeping 6' apart if they come out). See list under 'ABOUT US.' Are we naughty to suggest this... April and May have been added to the Web site.

Coronavirus Map

Michael Plunkett  shared this on Mar. 26. It looks like a very interesting share. Thanks, Mike.

How To Know When It Is A Leap Year
Here's a fun thing that Bill Hunt contributed to our newsletter:
Follow this flow chart to figure it out:
Picture
My husband, Ben Riding, thought that it is a leap year if it is divisible by 4. I told him that it's much more per Bill Hunt's found flowchart and scienceabc.com. Ben proceeded to look it up, as he often does (I call him Mr. Science sometimes..), and found it has to do with about 6 hours added per year (somehow...) which throws off this easy division.

Thanks, Bill Hunt and Mr. Science (actually two guys we can call Mr. Science)!!
