Sanitation Collection Details

Sanitation Collection Schedule
Trash - TUESDAY & FRIDAY     Recycling - TUESDAY      Yard Waste:  WEDNESDAY
(including:  Alhambra, Allende, De La Vista, Hacienda, Harmeswood of Belle Aire, Palo Alto, Rio Grande, Rio Ponderosa, Rio Ranchero, Santiago, Santo Domingo, Summerchase, Tierra Del Sol   

Household waste pick up --  regular household waste pickup AND Bulk Items that must be scheduled: 
       Feb. 2, 2020 - Update referred to us by our Rep, Jerry Coomans - thanks, Jerry!

**This information pertains to those residents who live in Districts 1 through 11 (includes all of the Village of Palo Alto). **
The following items can be placed in your regular household waste pick up:
· Microwave and small kitchen appliances
· Plastic Chairs
· Office chairs/desk chairs/kitchen chairs
· 2-burner grills
· Flat screen TV’s
· Ceiling fans (blades must be removed)
· Ironing boards
· Brooms
· Pallets
· Carpeting and/or padding (No larger than 4’ x 4’ & less than 40 lbs.)
· Lamps
· Electronics (computers, stereo equipment, monitors…)
A Bulk Item Pick-Up will need to be scheduled for larger items such as:
· Furniture (over-sized chairs, mattresses, box springs, etc.
· Appliances (washer, dryer, dishwasher, refrigerator)
· Lawn Mowers
· Exercise Equipment
· Homeowner ONLY generated remodeling debris (sinks, toilets, carpeting,
lumber…) 

All Contractors are required to remove all debris from their jobs. This includes lawn maintenance, tree trimmers, builders, carpet installers, roofers, etc.
