Caravan Road Trip (CRT) - Palo Alto Club

Your loyal Board has initiated Palo Alto Club's Caravan Road Trip (CRT) starting January 27, 2018
The plan is that it will be a monthly road trip to something fun. CRTs may be anything from an outdoor festival to a movie and dinner locally to a visit to a botanical garden and lunch.

We'll plan upcoming CRTs and let you know what's coming up and confirm how to sign up.

Signups
As soon as you see an offering you like...   Sign-up via email right away & save the date on your calendar
Email signup to:     Susan Riding    crt@srwr.com
(crt@srwr.com for CRT sign-ups only, all other emails to Susan at inmail@srwr.com)

We'll be in touch with you concerning details (and we will add details to the Web site as we have them).

For any CRT signup, including free events, we ask you to signup so we know who is attending and so that we can communicate via email with all who have registered for that event.

When Dinner Involved:
When an admission fee is involved, you will signup in the same way as described above. Also, we will ask for a $5 deposit* to be refunded the day of the event, if you attend the event. It is non-refundable if you do now come to the dinner. This is just like our Dining Out events. It helps to firm up the headcount.

When Admission Fee Involved:
When an admission fee is involved, you will signup in the same way as described above. Once you sign up for an event that has an admission fee, we will email information on what name to write the check to and where to send your check (will change from event to event). We will also confirm the pay-by date. If you do not receive that confirmation email, please call Susan Riding at 352 750-3399.

When possible, we will attempt to get a discounted group rate. Sometimes the group rate obligation determines the pay by date.

Until you pay a non-refundable fee, you are not obligated to it. Once you do reserve and pay, the admission fee is non-refundable.

Details per Event
Details of the next three CRTs will be on the specified date on our Calendar page.

Meeting & Departure Time
Meeting Time:
Get in carpools at your homes ahead of time. Meet at the given time and
place (normally Tierra Del Sol Rec Center parking lot) for that month's event.

Departure Time:
Normally departure is set for 30 minutes after meeting time. We'll depart on time so if you have to miss the departure time, you can meet us there.
Follow Each Other?
Please use your GPS or Google Maps to reach the destination as it would normally be pretty impossible to stay together all the way to our destination. It is best not to try to follow closely to one another.

You can also depart from your home at the given departure time and meet us at that event's destination. Know that if there is a group tour involved, you could miss it if you don't leave on time.

You can come on your own or establish carpooling before arriving at the Tierra meeting point or simply meet the group at the event location.
