Carpool Road Trip (CRT)
Villages POLO, golf cart tailgate and see The Villages Precision Golf Cart Drill Team at half-time
May 5, 2019 / Meet: Tierra del Sol at 10:30 am (leave 10:45 am) Signup by May 2 / 5:00 pm
We're not carpooling very far on this one and the mode of transportation is golf cart (for staying together and for tailgating). We'll stay together for a fun caravan to the Polo Fields, for arriving about the same time and for tailgating inside the grounds. If we are separated, meet outside the Polo gate entrance so we can enter together at about 11 am - necessary in order to park together.
Fee: $15 per person reserves your spot. (pay ahead so one person pays at the gate)

*** Polo AND The Villages Precision Golf Cart Drill Team (at half-time)
Let's get together for a special golf cart tailgate at The Villages Polo Grounds. On top of fun and great food, we get to see The Villages Precision Golf Cart Drill Team (including three Palo Alto residents as Drill Team members) at half-time. www.golfcartdrillteam.com/.
We're excited - many of us have seen the Drill Team in the confined space of a street parade but this will take place out on the Polo Field at half-time.
Some of us remember that the Polo games were less expensive to attend and perhaps it's been a while since you've been to Polo. It might be time to go again. Nowhere else do retirees have such a great golf cart accessible resource. Join us to again enjoy the fine talented riders and the beautiful horses! $15 per person is actually low compared to other Polo offerings in Florida and the world and yet ours is just as beautiful and exciting (and golf cart accessible!)!

*** Food
Instead of going to a restaurant before of after the CRT, we'll all bring food to munch on as we watch the Polo and Drill Team show. Bring nibbles / appetizers or crockpot something to share and we'll munch the day away.
*** Also
Bring a folding chair or sit in your golf cart for the games.
